Yoga -hold yourself to a standard of grace not perfection

Ashtanga Vinyasa flow Yin Iyengar yoga the differing styles of yoga go on and on …….A pose is just a pose. It has a purpose. To open, to strengthen, to stretch, find balance. Whether your in a warrior pose or a one arm balance, it is still just a shape or movement with the body. What makes it “Yoga” is not the pose, not the shape or the movement. It’s the intention behind the pose. The mindfulness that connects. The awareness of mind, breath and body and the connections between. It’s the devotion to the practise of creating a deeper understanding and connection to yourself and the universe.
